A video shared on X (archive) purported to show Pakistan Army soldiers forcibly removing a woman. The post included a claim in Pashto, with an English translation visible in the screenshot below:

Soch Fact Check’s analysis reveals that the footage is AI-generated.

At the video’s opening, the soldiers’ faces, particularly their eyes, display blurring, hollowness, and distortion, characteristic indicators of AI generation that reflect the technology’s inability to accurately render authentic human features (as shown below):

Further examination of the name tag and Pakistan Army insignia on the uniform reveals nonsensical, garbled text, which is another hallmark of AI-generated content that confirms the video is fake.

Soch Fact Check also used AI detection tools for further analysis. One such tool, Zhuque AI Detection Assistant, yielded a probability of 99.98%, which means that the clip is “likely AI-generated”.

Deepfake-O-Meter, an initiative of the University at Buffalo, also uses various detection algorithms. In this case, 7 out of 12 algorithms gave percentages above 50%, confirming that the clip was generated using AI.
