Soch Fact Check browsed Qazi’s social media handles to see if she had shared the statement anywhere but couldn’t find any video or evidence. Instead, it was found that the actress had made a post refuting the claim. On 7 September, she shared a screenshot of one of the posts making the claim on her Instagram stories and wrote, “Fake post with my name. Unauthentic pages. Report them.”

On the same date, Qazi also shared a one-minute and 30-second long video message on her Instagram feed. The caption reads:
“Just to clarify ! There is a post circulating that has my name attached to it . Some unauthentic pages posted them, I did not write or say those words … Don’t believe everything you see…Please disregard it. #celebrity #celebritynews #pakistanidramacelebrities #galaxylollywood #fakepost”
Furthermore, her message in the video has been translated in English below:
“Assalam o Alaikum. There are some social media posts that are constantly being reshared, using my name. I disown all those posts that are using my name and picture with a useless quote because I never said any such thing. I also reserve the right to take legal action against all those pages because my husband and sons are lawyers. If those pages don’t take down or delete their false posts, I will send them notices because having access to social media does not mean that you can say whatever you want and attribute anything to anyone.
And I also have a complaint against you all. You guys know me, I have been working for so many years now, praise to God, I have worked with a lot of dignity. How can you believe any useless quote written with my name? Please learn to filter, filter these nonsensical posts, these social media posts you see are not true. And once again, I warn those social media pages who are attributing false statements with my name and picture. I’ll record a video message if I’d want to make any statement. So please, be careful, learn to filter social media, and stop commenting on the posts falsely attributed with my name because I have not said anything like this. Thank you.”

Since there is no evidence of the actress making such a statement, and she has strongly refuted the claims, Soch Fact Check concludes the claim is false.

Soch Fact Check first came across a viral Facebook post with as many as 1,600 likes. The claim garnered 429 likes on a separate post on the platform as well as an additional 348 likes on Instagram.
