“🚨 BREAKING: Did Modi actually warn Netanyahu about the “Islamic NATO”? 🇮🇳📞🇮🇱 Indian PM Narendra Modi said he explicitly warned Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu about the Saudi-Turkey-Pakistan alliance, stating: “I told Netanyahu that this alliance will be formed but he did not believe me. Mecca Agreement

On 7 August 2026, Turkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan signed a bilateral mutual defense treaty, following regional tensions amid the 2026 Iran war.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan stated the “The Mecca Joint Defence Agreement” is a “commitment to further strengthening their collective security and to promoting peace, security, and stability in the region.” The agreement is modelled after NATO’s Article 5, where an attack on one member state is treated as an attack on all.

Fact or Fiction?

A reverse-search of the video’s  first keyframe led to the same video posted by the Prime Minister of India’s Youtube channel on15 August 2026. The clip is titled ‘PM Modi addresses the nation on the 80th Independence Day from the ramparts of the Red Fort’.

Side-by-side comparison of both the frames (Left: the viral claim. Right: The same video on the PMO’s YouTube channel.)

Indian prime minister Modi does not make any reference to the Mecca Agreement in the video posted to his official YouTube channel, signalling that the audio of the clip under investigation has been manipulated,
