Fact or Fiction?
Soch Fact Check reverse-searched keyframes from the video and found that it is old.
An X account posted the same footage on 10 November 2023 with the caption linking the footage to an Israeli strike on an Indonesian hospital in Gaza.
On the left is a screenshot of the clip from April 2026, which is the same as the one from November 2023.
Another X user also shared the same clip on 10 November 2023.
The same footage also appeared on Reddit on 10 November 2023, with the caption stating: “Extended clip of an earlier upload of IDF airstrikes near the Indonesian hospital in Gaza Strip”.
Soch Fact Check then analysed the visual elements in the clip from November 2023 that led us to the footage published by Al Jazeera at that time. Specifically, in the top-right corner, the video displays the text “Indonesian hospital- Just now,” translated via Google Translate.

Keyword searches based on the above information yielded a YouTube video segment by Al Jazeera with the title “Injuries reported in Gaza’s Indonesian hospital” on 9 November 2023. Scenes from the video being factchecked match the ones from the Al Jazeera clip at the timestamp 5:04, confirming that the footage is old.
The description of the clip stated: ‘The Palestinian interior ministry has reported “a number of injuries” among thousands of displaced people who are sheltering in the yards of the Indonesian hospital in northern Gaza.
The vicinity of the hospital was attacked by Israeli fighter jets, the ministry said, specifically the Tal al-Zaatar area.’
Further searches also yielded a longer version of the same video posted by Al Jazeera on Facebook on 9 November 2023 with the caption linking the incident to an Indonesian hospital being bombed.
Soch Fact Check therefore rates the claim as false.
